Hurricane Katrina

Dear Family & Friends,

This email was not generated by a website, but personal words written by me inspired and sadden by the images of the devastation caused by recent Hurricane Katrina. While we ate our fancy meals, and drank our expensive wines, thousands of people are suffering and going through day to day without a certain foreseeable future in front of them. Hope is a luxury they no longer can carry with them on a daily basis for everything around them speaks a certain death; but through us, through our generosity, through our prayers and compassion, hope may be instilled back in them and hope is what they desperate seek.

So please, family and friends, I implore you, if you have the means, please, please donate to the American Red Cross, or any relief organizations of your choice. Every dollar counts, and every prayer is heard, so please, look into your heart and give hope to those who may not have them anymore. Shed light into their darkness; help them see the way, give them a helping hand and provide the support to help them to stand, once again, on their own two feet. Only by helping each other can the miracle of life continue.

With all my heart and soul,

I love you all dearly,
Howard

  • Howard - a very nice message indeed. I'd also recommend looking into matching contribution programs; my company matches the contributions of its employees, which is an added benefit.
